Experience
I have been teaching students of all ages for 13 years. Since 2011, I have worked as a teaching assistant at the University of California, Irvine. In that capacity, I have taught anthropology, sociology, international relations, and global studies to over 400 undergraduates. I have particularly loved helping bright students achieve high marks by working with them to identify their individual learning styles, then teaching methods for maximizing their study time, staying organized, and keeping on top of their demanding scholastic and extracurricular workloads. My proudest moments as a TA come when I read a beautifully written, well-researched paper written by students with whom I have worked one-on-one since the beginning of the term.
