I grew up in Irvine, CA and graduated from University High School, Irvine, CA in 2010 and graduated from UC Irvine in 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Biological Science. My future aspirations include pursuing a career in medicine, thus I am currently applying to medical school. I have 3 years of previous private tutoring experience with high school students in the sciences (biology, chemistry, physics). Relevant classes I have taken at UC Irvine and received an A or better include: general biology, general chemistry, psychology, physics, writing, calculus, statistics, microbiology neurobiology, ecology and evolution, and human physiology. My tutoring style begins with getting to know the students weaknesses and how they learn. I am very patient and able to use various methods to help students understand what they are struggling with. I always aim to have students understand material and not just memorize it. This way students have a sturdy foundation to build on in the future and thus an easier time remembering information on exams. Lastly, I am here to answer any questions students have, it is their time and they can use it anyway they want or think is best for them.
